I thought I had something in mind, and then started moving things around -- which made me question my original design. It's never a good idea to second-guess myself, it only leads to more questions and more rearranging, and more questions, and more rearranging...

you just need to have 3 quilts in progress so you can use all of the ideas. Actually the one on the left and the center one would work nicely together.
I had a similar problem with HSTs last week, but my sister and niece put in their two cents and now I have a finished top! Hang in there - it will come together!
