So she got a quilt for her birthday. Or rather, her dolls did. Along with a matching pillow. In this cute little suitcase I found at Michael's on sale for $2.

Becoming seven...
FCOR Bella (that's First Cousin Once Removed -- so as not to get me confused with her 20 first cousins and 7 aunts, she calls me "FCOR Kate," which goes both ways) turned seven this week. She's a budding artist, musician, and dreams of being in the cast of "High School Musical." She loves Chad. And Troy. And Sharpay's flashy clothes. She wants desperately to be a teenager.
But still loves her dolls.

Such a wonderful gift! And it's nice to encourage the dolls -- she'll be a teenager soon enough and will need a real childhood to fall back on. Of course, Bella doesn't understand this, who does at that age? ;)
