always talking about. Taken November, 2008
It is officially MINUS NINE DEGREES outside. Without any wind chill. I know we're not the coldest part of the country, but holy crap! That's COLD!
And my furnace picked today to act up. So it's not very warm inside, either. But still warmer than OUT THERE.
It's almost too cold to type. It's definitely too cold to sew. But on the upside, I have three cute handy boys in my basement, and corn chowder in the crock pot.
Always looking for the silver lining...

We're living in a refrigerator down here, too. My daughter looked at the weather map this morning and announced that Illinois is colder than northern Alaska today!
Tonight, the temps here are going down to 5 degrees with a wind chill factor of -20.
Here being North Carolina.
YO! PHOENIX! Is it warm there?
below zero here this morning too. arrrg! cuddle up under some quilts and stay warm!
80's here this week. Sorry. Of course, I'd much rather have cold weather in January. *sigh* How about the recipe for that crockpot corn chowder? Sounds great!
how 'bout some more info on those "boys?" are you inviting them up for chowder when they're done working on the furnace? it might warm you up!
OK, here is my quarterly visit, from wet-and-gray (with all that salty sandy gook on your windshield)-but-not-that-cold- considering, maybe 30 degrees, New York City...stay warm, everyone. I suggest hot chocolate and Trivial Pursuit. (Nice quilts, psychedelic as always, old buddy.)
