I'm jumping on the bus too! This will be my first time for this type of quilting.
You are very brave - I would have no idea how to sew things together that aren't perfect squares or rectangles. But I like the idea of trying it someday.
And thanks for the batik tip - unfortunately, it all was sold out by the time I got there. Bummer.
